Our Sanitizing Footbath Mats keeps hygienic areas free of contamination and germs. Great for food processing plants, this mat has thousands of pliable rubber scrapers that dislodge contaminants from footwear as the shoe soles are immersed in the disinfectant solution. Sanitizing Foot Mat, standard capacity, will hold one gallon of disinfectant solution, chlorine or quaternary solution. Select the Tall Wall, high capacity, size if you need to hold more liquid (2.5 gallons).

Sanitizing Footbath mats can be placed at any critical entrance or exit to facilities that are at risk for cross contamination. The CDC recommend 500 ppm (1:100 dilution of household bleach) to 5000 ppm (1:10 dilution of bleach. Several other liquid products are available that can make a quaternary solution. We recommend strictly adhering to the product label for proper dilution methods.

Sanitizing Footbath mats are designed to decontaminate shoes and boots which are among the worst culprits in spreading harmful germs and bacteria in food production facilities. Step into the mat and remove harmful germs and bacteria in a disinfectant solution. Sanitizing Footbath mats provide CRITICAL protection from potentially deadly contamination.

Standard Capacity Mat

• 24″ x 32″ x 1/2″ thick has radius corner (all other sizes have a squared corner)

High Capacity Tall Wall Mat
The Tall Wall model has 2 ½” high Walls, which allows the mat to hold up to 5.5 gallons of sanitizing solution. When filled to a practical level, the solution will totally immerse the treads and sides of the boot sole, while the fingertips release any accumulations. The larger overall size covers most doorways and allows employees to take two steps in the mat.

Cleaning

Use a high-pressure hose (not to exceed 500 psi) and hot water (max 160o F) to rid the mats of oils. For best results use a mild soap or detergent with a pH between 4 and 9, to clean the mats. Do not use steam (unless specifically recommended), degreasers, or caustic chemicals. Do not machine wash or mechanically scrub the mats.
